In a vision born of dreams, the spirit of Dalí meets the elegance of Hermès.
Discover this artistic reinterpretation of Eau de Gentiane Blanche, an AI-generated video creation. This visual artwork serves as an artistic manifesto, striking a perfect balance between heritage and audacity. Here, the bottle is no longer merely glass-it is a precious talisman that curves and melts in surrealist fashion, capturing the light within its dark green depths.
Dalí never kept art and perfume apart. In 1946 he designed the Baccarat flacon of Schiaparelli's Le Roy Soleil. In 1983 he launched his own fragrance, its bottle drawn from his painting Apparition of the Aphrodite of Knidos. Had he lived today, he would have had a new medium: artificial intelligence. This project starts from a single question: how would Dalí reimagine an Hermès fragrance? I chose Eau de Gentiane Blanche, the cult cologne composed by Jean-Claude Ellena in 2009 - a scent of restraint and bitterness, the perfect counterpoint to surrealist excess.
Concept : The flacon ceases to be an object. Like the watches of The Persistence of Memory, it softens, bends and melts - yet it never loses its identity. Hermès rigour meets Dalí's dream logic: the bottle becomes a talisman, holding the light in its depths.
Process : Stills generated with Nano Banana Pro, animated with Kling 3.0, then edited and graded in After Effects. The core challenge: preserving the exact silhouette of the flacon while letting its form dissolve - the object must remain recognisable in every frame.
